Bibliography Poland:

Unfortunately, there is very little literature on Poland in the 1960s available in English. A very good and readable introduction into the topic of dissidents in comparative view is provided by Falk (2003). For the Polish March of 1968, see Eisler (1991, 2006). Probably the best reader on the March events is Kula (1998).

For eyewitness perspectives, see especially Kuroń (1990) and Michnik (1977, 1985). A detailed analysis of the development of Polish opposition between 1945 and 1980 is presented by Friszke (1994), who also gives an excellent overview about the Polish Peoples Republic (2003).
